What is my username/Password?

Your username/password was provided in your registration confirmation email and again in the Thursday, October 28th “Before You Go” email.


I was registered for an earlier conference and have requested that my registration be transferred to the virtual Conference. How do I log in?

Each conference registration is unique. A confirmation email was sent to you with login details. If you did not receive this confirmation or have other questions about how to log in, please contact our conferences team at


Can I share my registration access with another co-worker?

No, registration is unique to you and is linked to your DBIA account.


What happens if I miss a live session or cannot attend?

If you register but happen to miss any of the live webcasts, no problem! Each session will be recorded and available on-demand a week after the event. Attendees can access sessions for 30 days.


How do I access the sessions?

All registered attendees can log in from the Conference homepage. You can then access all sessions by clicking on the "Enter Sessions" box on the homepage. From there, select the conference day you would like to view. Click on any session title and access the "View Session" button. You can also save these sessions to your calendar from the program.


How can I receive CEUs for the conference?

Complete the short survey at the conclusion of each session you attend, and you will be able to print a Certificate of Attendance. Individuals who attend the full Design-Build Conference & Expo beginning with the opening session can earn up to 33 hours of Continuing Education Credits (CEUs). DBIA is an approved AIA provider, including HSW credits. Please use the AIA form for AIA-approved sessions.


Sessions & Networking

When will conference session recordings be available for viewing and how do I access them?

Session recordings will be available a week after each session. Attendees will have access to all sessions for 30 days.


How do I access copies of the PowerPoint presentations?

PDFs of speaker PowerPoint presentations can be found under the “Handouts” tab for each session.


How do I connect with other attendees and colleagues during the conference?

You will be able to connect with other attendees and colleagues using the Chat feature available during each session. Please also join us in the Attendee Networking Lounge where you can connect directly with other attendees and in the Expo Hall where you can make appointments with exhibitors or speak with them via video and basic chat.

You can visit exhibitors 24/7 to download resources and engage in the Expo Hall.


Will exhibit personnel be available to meet me?

Absolutely! Exhibitor personnel will be available to chat and answer questions during all scheduled morning and afternoon breaks, lunches, and evening networking times. Some exhibitors also have extended hours and you can find those listed in each booth. You can also leave a chat message for them anytime and they’ll get back to you. 


Technical Issues

Here are some commonly asked technical questions.

Email if you have login issues, or if you have audio/video technical issues or problems accessing a specific session.

I am having trouble with the audio, the streaming stopped… what do I do?

If you are not able to hear any audio through your computer speakers check to make sure your speakers are not muted or turned off.

The next step is to refresh your screen by pressing the F5 key on your keyboard or clicking the “refresh” button in your web browser.


The slides are not loading; I can’t see the slides, other technical issues.

Chrome and Firefox are recommended browsers. Do Not use Internet Explorer.
Please ensure your organization meets hardware, software and bandwidth requirements. Take this requirement check in advance of the conference, to allow time for troubleshooting.

Step 1: Perform a browser test here. If you see the video and hear music that means you passed and can close that window.

Step 2: Please review the following Technical Requirements and be sure your system and networks are up to date.

Other Recommendations:

  • It is recommended that you use a PC or MAC with an updated Internet Browser.
  • Disable the pop-ups blockers in your Internet browser settings.
  • WiFi is not recommended. WiFi signal strength can vary causing bandwidth to increase or decrease. We recommend a wired connection, when possible, for a consistent signal and consistent bandwidth.
  • Audio is projected through your computer speakers. Be sure your computer speakers are on and the volume is up.
